Spaghetti and meatballs

  1. Half fill a small to medium sized saucepan with water. Bring the water to a simmer.
  2. Drop bag of meatballs into the simmering water and cook for 10-12 minutes.
  3. At the 8-minute mark, add spaghetti portions and cook them in the same pot for the remaining 4 minutes.
  4. Carefully drain the water from the pot and remove both bags.
  5. Using the tip of a knife, carefully open both the spaghetti and meatball packs.
  6. Tip the contents of both bags back into the pot together over a low heat.
  7. Depending on what you prefer – add either a small amount of butter (20g) or approximately 30ml of extra virgin olive oil.
  8. Add additional seasoning to taste, mix carefully and serve.
  9. Top with the shaved parmesan and freshly cracked black pepper.
