Spaghetti Marinara

  1. Pre-heat a medium to large frypan, (with a lid preferably), over medium heat.
  2. Half fill a small pot of water and bring it to a gentle simmer.
  3. Open seafood pack and drain any liquid from seafood.
  4. Add enough oil to frypan to just cover the base. When oil is starting to smoke, carefully add seafood to pan.
  5. Turn heat to high. Turn seafood to cook evenly on all sides.
  6. If your pan has a lid, cover between turning to help the mussels and clams to cook through and open.
  7. Add the spaghetti portion in its bag to the hot water
  8. Lower the heat when seafood is almost cooked through, add the garlic and chilli, stir through and cook for 1-2 minutes.
  9. Add the hot spaghetti and parsley leaves and season to taste
  10. Serve onto a plate or bowl, drizzle with a good quality extra virgin olive oil.
