Nikka Taketsuru Pure Malt 700ml –
Named after the founder and godfather of Japanese whisky, this blend of Miyagikyo & Yoichi distilleries has an average age of 10 years. Rich and heady orchard fruits with smokey complexity make for a rounded and long finish.

Nikka Miyagikyo Single Malt 700ml –
This NAS single malt bottling from the Miyagikyo distillery in the mid-north east of Japan is very complex indeed. Matcha, Brazil nuts, a savoury soy character, some herbaceous lift and treacle like richness. There’s a wealth of sweet spices and black pepper on the finish, definitely one to ponder.

Hakushu 12yo 700ml –
From the Hakushu distillery which is set amidst spectacular pine forests and pure water sources close to the Japanese Alps at 700m altitude, this is centred around bright fruits with subtle match stick notes.

Yamazaki 12yo 700ml –
The flagship single malt of Japan, this is distilled at the Yamazaki distillery, Japan’s first and oldest distillery on the outskirts of Kyoto. Aged in a trio of three different wood finishes; sherry, bourbon & Mizunara (Japanese) this is a very sophisticated expression.
