Adelaide Hills’ most distinguished producer, Shaw + Smith are constantly seeking to create wines of brilliant clarity and transparency. Each year, they benchmark one of their own wines with revered examples from around the world for both consumers and trade to taste and learn. Read on to find out how you can get your eye in on… pinot.

This year, their focus turns to the noblest of grapes, pinot noir. We’re chuffed to be hosting this event for you in the Tea Room on Wednesday 5 June. Whilst we can’t give away the line-up just yet, there’s an exciting selection from Burgundy, Sonoma and Central Otago, together with local stars from the Yarra Valley, Macedon and Tasmania.

Leading the panel will be one of Australia’s brightest winemaking talents, Adam Wadewitz, together with sales gurus Natasha Johns and Dan Coward, helping keep Wadewitz on the straight and narrow!

Come and learn more about this fascinating variety and what makes it so highly sought after the world over. As always, we’ll have some house-made charcuterie on hand to satiate your hunger.
